He was born March 26, 1919 in Memphis, Texas. As a boy he worked on his family farm and graduated high school in Bovina, Texas. In December, 1940 he joined the Army Air Corps. While stationed in La Junta CO. he met and married Norma Woolfe. After moving to Lubbock in 1947 he began building homes and his business is still successful today.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma; son Ricky, and son-in-law, Bob Hornak.
Survivors include his daughters, Sherrie and Dee Dee; son-in-law Kelvin; and granddaughter Kami.
