Charles Reid

Charles Reid, 70, of Lumberton, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 in Stone County Hospital, Wiggins. Funeral services will be at White Funeral Home, 102 North 1st Street, Lumberton on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Jesse Ladner will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Landrum Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Reid was born September 19, 1945 in Lumberton to Charles Reid and Vada Jones Reid. He was a cattle farmer and a member of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Benny Reid, Boyd Reid; and one granddaughter, Deana Marie Reid. Family members include four sons, Jeffrey (Cornelia) Reid, Liston Lee, Adam (Mary) Reid, Samuel (Nicole) Reid; one daughter, Charli (Charles) Pierce; three brothers, Ray Reid, Roger Reid, Lloyd Reid, Jr.; and eight grandchildren.
