Mass of Christian Burial will be at OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP CATHOLIC CHURCH, 379 W Seneca Road, Lumberton, MS 39455 on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Balestra was born December 22, 1945 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Phillip and Doris Gros Balestra. He was a retired Heating & Cooling Engineer with Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and a United States Navy veteran.
Family members include his wife, Bertha Crabtree Balestra; step-son, Billy Wichers, Jr.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Balestra.
