Mrs. Joyce Byrd

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012 at Olive Baptist Church, Lumberton for Mrs. Joyce Reyer Byrd, 70, of Lumberton, Mississippi who died June 8, 2012. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Byrd was a longtime church pianist and a humble servant of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ; the former owner of the The Company Store, Ltd. in Lumberton from the mid 1980's and early 1990's; and a secretary and bookkeeper.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Toxie and Edna Daughdrill Reyer; and one son, Douglas Raymond Byrd.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Joseph D. Byrd; two daughters, Karen Wise and her husband, Paul and Rhonda Gail Byrd; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday June 10, 2012 at Olive Baptist Church, 30 Olive Church Road, Lumberton, Mississippi 39455.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Olive Baptist Church Building Fund.
