

Kathleen Bogle, age 93, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020, at her home in Lumberton, Mississippi. Kathleen was a retired mathematics teacher, having taught approximately 35 years at Baxterville School, Lumberton High School and PRCC. She wrote articles for the Headblock and the Hattiesburg American. Mrs. Bogle was a great supporter of Friends of the Library and the Lumberton Historical Museum. She was a faithful member of Lumberton Church of Christ.
Survivors include; one daughter, Dolores Allen (Ron) of Nashville; one son, David Bogle (Susan) of Lumberton; one sister, Patsy Howard (Harvey) of Brandon; one brother, Bill Kittrell (Martha) of Rawls Springs; 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was also loved by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Bill Bogle and her brother, Kerry Kittrell.
Friends and family are invited to attend Mrs. Bogle's Graveside Services on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at 3:30 pm, at Lumberton City Cemetery. The services will be officiated by Trent Megill, preacher for Lumberton Church of Christ and Steven Allen, grandson. Visitation will be held at White Funeral Home, 102 N 1st St, Lumberton, Mississippi, Thursday, May 7, 2020 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lumberton Church of Christ or Berean Children's Home in Bogue Chitto, Mississippi.
A celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be determined.
