Obelia Pickett Reid

Mrs. Reid was born December 12, 1928 in Lumberton to Buford Pickett and Thelma Latham Pickett. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, W.E. Reid; three sons, Billy W. Reid, Roy Reid, Ed Reid; and one granddaughter, Kimberly Reid.

Family members include her children, Inell Reid, Sara Simmons, Aneta Rae Stanford, Myrtis Byrd, Joe (Saranda) Reid, Dale (Debbie) Reid; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Services will be at White Funeral Home, Lumberton on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Donovan Reid and Rev. Bo Walker will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Entrekin Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Tuesday at the funeral home.
