Agnes Marie Mosebrook

Agnes Marie Mosebrook, 73, of Gladys passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020, at her residence. She was the loving wife of 53 years to Guy Franklin Mosebrook. Born November 30, 1946, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Winfree Austin and the late Margaret Evelyn Hawkins Austin. Agnes was a homemaker and a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She was also a member of Kedron Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by three brothers, James “JW” Winfree Austin, Jerry Lewis Austin and Larry Walter Austin. In addition to her husband, Agnes is survived her three sons, David Franklin Mosebrook and his wife Kathy Lynn of Rustburg, Dwayne Stuart Mosebrook and his wife Meriam of Leola, PA and Jonathan Edmond Mosebrook and his wife Lora Mae of Newport News; one sister Teresa “TJ” Austin of Roanoke; seven grandchildren, Alexander, Benjamin, Daphne, Sharen, Michael, Kayla and Savannah; aunt, Barbara Hawkins Dillon of Forest; and other loving family members and friends. Gravesides services will be private at Kedron Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be no formal hours of visitation at the funeral home, yet family and friends may visit from the hours of 8:30 am – 6:00 pm, Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
