Born October 3, 1941 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Andrew Clay Davis, Jr. and Cordelia Tuggle Davis Litten and was also preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Ann Davis. He was retired and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Davis is survived by a brother, Michael W. Davis of Lynchburg and a sister, Norma Jean Davis of Tucson, AZ.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2016 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. Derik Hamby officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Whitten Park Avenue.
