Annie Thomas Hudson

Born on January 4, 1937 in Independence, VA, she was the daughter of the late Olan and Ruth Thomas. Ann retired from GE/ Ericsson and was a member of Leawood Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends as well as traveling, especially to the beach.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Gary Hudson and sister, Roberta Bowles.

Ann is survived by her daughters, Vickie Hudson Stanley and Deborah Hudson (Ralph Cash); son, Terry Hudson and wife Yancey; two grandchildren, Brian Stanley and wife Christy and Jeremy Stanley; three great grandchildren, Kyler, Bayla and Kayla Stanley; brother, James R. Thomas; sister, Joyce L. Spence; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Centra Hospice, Anita Lowe, Leah Spence, Kyler Stanley, Bayla Stanley, and Roy Thomas for their wonderful care during Ann’s illness.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Dwight Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
