Born in Danville on January 5, 1954 she was a daughter of the late Mack Peele and Helen Peele. She was a member of Shekinah Glory Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Elaina Grace Cornell.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter Michelle Cornell and her husband Michael of Lynchburg; three siblings, Larry Peele and his wife Lisa, Brenda Vasser and Pauline Peele all of Danville.
A memorial service will be conducted 5:00 pm Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Shekinah Glory Baptist Church.
