Barry was born in Lynchburg, March 11, 1970 and was a graduate of Heritage High School.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dixie Louise Ramey and brother, Steven Troy Ramey.
He is survived by his daughter, Megan Nicole Meadows-Ramey of Lynchburg and his father, Steven Ramey of Florida.
A memorial service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel after which the family will receive friends until 8:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Gethsemane Baptist Church, 411 Blue Ridge St., Lynchburg, VA 24501.
