Beth Kidd Mehaffey

She was born in Lynchburg on May 27, 1930, daughter of the late Milton Kidd and the late Phoebe Kidd.

She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, James B. Mehaffey, Jr. as well as five brothers and a sister.

Beth was a member of North Bedford Baptist Church and was retired from Duti-Duds. She loved to work in her yard.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Deborah M. Lee and husband Henry; a son, Danny Mehaffey and wife Lynn as well as four grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, with Pastor Chad Brady officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 12:45 pm on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
