Betty was born on October 10, 1935 in Lynchburg. She was the daughter of the late Claude Dunnaway and Hazel Dunnaway. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Alfred M. Alcock.
Betty is survived by her children, Michael Alcock of Roanoke, Paul Alcock of Lynchburg, David Alcock and his wife Robin of Danville; grandchildren Carolyn Alcock of Lynchburg, Paul Alcock Jr. of Lynchburg, Alex Alcock of Danville; great grandchildren Kyria Alcock, Jordyn Alcock and Jacob Alcock, all of Lynchburg.
A time to celebrate Betty's life will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Lynchburg Courtyard by Marriott Meeting Room, 4640 Murray Place, Lynchburg. Casual dress attire is encouraged.
