Brenda Crawford Wooldridge

Brenda Crawford Wooldridge, age 77, of Lynchburg, wife of Loyd A. Wooldridge, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at her home. She was born in Alexandria on April 13, 1943, daughter of the late John Paul Crawford and Stella Nesselrodt Crawford. Brenda was retired from the Post Office Credit Union. She was a big animal lover, especially of cats. She loved antiques, displaying antiques at booths in malls, working estate auctions and shopping. She was a loving grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, going to the beach, and the Smokey Mountains She is survived by a son, John Alan Wooldridge (Liz Winston Ewers); a daughter, Lori Wooldridge Driskill and husband Tom; 2 grandchildren, Haley Driskill and Corey Driskill and a sister, Sheila Mentzer. There will be an open time for the public to pay their respects from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. When attending services, please maintain social distancing and wear a mask for everyone’s safety. The funeral home staff will assist with maintaining the 10-person limit.
