Born in Pittsylvania County, January 14, 1940, he was the son of the late Charley Stone Haley and Pauline Keesee Haley and brother to the late Barbara Birchall. He was a retired customer service associate with Lowe’s Home Improvement in Bedford and was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Pamela J. Haley of Seattle, Washington.
A service celebrating his life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Lakewood Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Manley officiating. The family will receive friends during a reception following the service.
