Cecil Wayne Kidd

Born May 12, 1948 in Nelson County, he was the son of the late Frank M. and Carrie K. Kidd and was also preceded in death by a son, Airman Anthony Wayne Kidd; two brothers, Gilbert Kidd and wife Ethel and William L. Kidd; two sisters, Marjorie Olson and husband Bill and Shirley Carter. Mr. Kidd retired from BWXT after forty years of service and was of Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Kidd is survived by two sons, Kevin L. Kidd (Sandra Alford) of Forest and Stacy F. Kidd (Amy) of Concord; a brother, Wesley Kidd (Regina) of Staunton; a brother-in-law, Riley Carter of Madison Heights; a sister-in-law, Debbie Kidd of Chestertown, MD; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

There will not be scheduled visitation hours; however, friends are welcome to visit at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, after 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

A private graveside service will be held at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
