Mr. Cofflin was retired from the Lynchburg Foundry.
Survivors include four children, Charles W. Cofflin, William Cofflin, Bonnie Cofflin Witt and David Cofflin; his sister Helen and six grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at Spring Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Reed Ness officiating.
