Curtis Edward “Ed” Thrasher, 60, of Lynchburg, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Guggenheimer Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Dawn Williams Thrasher for twenty-four years.
Born March 1, 1958 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Curtis Dillon Thrasher and the late Verna Elizabeth Litchford Clay and was also preceded in death by a brother, Cade Thrasher. Ed was the co-owner & operator of the former America’s Choice Collision.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Brandi Lee Thrasher of Lynchburg and Colby Shoemaker and husband Michael of Amherst; two sons, Eric Meadows and wife Nikki of Lynchburg and Matthew Williams and wife Shenita of Colonial Heights; one brother, David Thrasher of Rustburg; two sisters, Marylene Dearing and husband Randy of Lynchburg and Vickie Blake and husband Grady of Forest; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Curtis Walkup officiating.
