David Allen Knight

David Allen Knight, age 68 of Forest, husband of Phoebe B. Knight, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 4, 2018. Born on July 11, 1950 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Elmer George Knight and the late Mary Witt Knight. David was baptized July 17, 2018. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Carroll Knight. David enjoyed riding his Harley and fishing. He loved animals and also traveling to visit family. David cherished his many relatives, nieces, nephews and friends, as well as his very dear friend Mike Abbott. In addition to his wife, Phoebe, he is survived by four children, Allen Knight and wife Kim, Elizabeth Bivens and husband Joe, Catherine Huseonica and husband Gabe, and Laura Davis and husband Blake; two sisters, Eleanor Ruth Pauley and Debra Rice and husband John; four brothers, James Knight and wife Betty, Jeffery Knight and wife Renee’, Manus Knight and wife Faye, and Barry Knight. Survivors also include nine grandchildren, Hunter Knight, Cayden and Cayla Bivens, Savannah Knight, Camryn, Coltin and Cassie Davis, Brayden and Addison Huseonica. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Rev. George Bramble officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the funeral home.
