David Wayne Tolley

Born on April 1, 1955 in Bedford County, he was the son of the late William “Marshall” Tolley Sr. and Thelma C. Tolley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Tolley, Kenneth Tolley, William M. Tolley, Jr. and Tex A. Tolley and his sister, Hazel Tolley Boardwine.

David was retired from Tessy Plastics and had also worked at James T. Davis. He was a loving and kind Christian soul who called Clifford Baptist Church his church home.

He is survived by his brothers, Richard Tolley, Walter “Lee” Tolley (Sheila) and Steve Tolley; and two sisters-in-law, Jane Tolley and Aveline Tolley. David also leaves behind a loving family of nieces and nephews and his precious kitty, Willa.

A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Living Water Ministries, 1071 Waterlick Road, Lynchburg with Pastor Jeffrey Campbell officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m at the church.
