Debbie King Rosser

Debbie held a long-dedicated career, of over 20 years, with the Hampton Newport News Community Service Board, from which she recently retired from. She enjoyed life to its fullest, while going on many trips to the beach, cooking on holidays for her family-especially on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Spending time with her family and friends brought her great joy, but her grandchildren, “Lia” and Christian, were said to be the light of her life.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter: Jessica King, and her fiancé, Raymond Garnes; her “bonus” daughter: Haley King; her grandchildren: Natalia Garnes and Chistian King; “bonus” grandchildren, Kaiden King, Kinsley McLean, and Kennedy King; her siblings, all of Lynchburg, VA: brother, Wayne Phillips, and his wife, Merissa; brother, Mike Phillips; sister, Lillie Darnell Richards, and her husband, Mike; a special aunt Catherine Phillips; Debbie also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, family friends and loved ones.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
