Deborah Faye Brooks

She was born in Lynchburg on August 30, 1955, daughter of the late Raymond L. Hicks and the late Helen G. Hicks.

Deborah was a retired clerk with the United States Post Office.

In addition to her parents Deborah was preceded in death by her son, Lee Grant and two brothers, Michael Hicks and Mark Hicks.

Deborah's husband Cecil R. Brooks, Jr. joined her in heaven on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

She is survived by her brother, Milton “Bud” Hicks as well as two granddaughters.

Services will be private.
