Donald Allan Schnarr

Pastor Dr. Donald Allan Schnarr, 74, of Lynchburg, went peacefully to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 06, 2011, at his residence. He left behind his loving wife of 52 years, Jean Love Schnarr. He was born October 7, 1936, in Elyria, OH, to the late Theodore Edwin Schnarr and Erma Cooper Schnarr.

Donald was a retired Baptist minister and a member of Timberlake Baptist Church. Donald served his Lord in full time ministry for over 40 years.

In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by three sons, Daniel E. Schnarr and his wife Valerie of Sagamore Hills, OH, David A. Schnarr and his wife Michelle of Ft. Leavenworth, KS, and Donn H. Schnarr and his wife Sherry of Lynchburg; one daughter, Denee S. Robertson and her husband Joel of Morris, IL; fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted, 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2011, at Timberlake Baptist Church with Pastor Bryan Ferrell and Pastor Larry Brodie officiating. The family will receive friends after the conclusion of the service. Interment will take place prior to the memorial service at Virginia Memorial Park.
