There will be a hole in our gatherings now, but we will fill it with memories and laughter,  as she would have us to.

Aunt Donna was surely one of the sweetest spirits I’ve ever known. Her warm and welcoming way made you feel loved and treasured.
As believers it is comforting to know we will meet again, but the sting of loss is still there. May you all be comforted by His love and grace. 
I can just hear your Dad as he met your Mom… “Hello Toots! Where you been?” Lol. 
They were truly a match made in heaven and so they will be for eternity.
God has an amazing way of turning all things for good!

Donna was always so selfless and welcoming. She never had a problem with us crashing her holidays or feeding us. She wanted to know what was going on in our lives and took the time to listen. She was sweet lady and I know she will be missed by many. Keeping you in my prayers, Wilson family!

To all of the Wilson family, 
My sincere condolences to your family.  Sam and Donna always had an "open door" policy for friends and family.  I was introduced by a cousin of Donna's who lived in Maine.  The day I drove my daughter to Liberty University will live on in my head forever.  Little did I know it would be such a long drive, in a truck, loaded down with college students and family, in the heat of August, that meeting  this sweet man and his wife for the first time would be one of my fondest memories of Lynchburg.  Being from Maine, I did not know my way around Lynchburg (this was before GPS folks).  You have to admit going south on 29 and ending up on 501 north was always quite puzzling to me.  We unloaded the truck on campus, and Sam had to come up and lead the way for me to find their home.   By that time I'm sure it was close to midnight. I was exhausted.  The bed Donna gave me to rest that night was the sweetest rest of all time.  She also hosted my nephew and my mother-in-law that day.  She's a rare gem, a hostess with the mostest and will sorely be missed.  For sure.  Thank you, Wilsons for such great memories and for loving me and my family so well.

The Wilson’s graciously opened their home along with their granddaughter to host a pool party for all the friends (LCA) to enjoy a pool party!  They welcomed us with a delicious lunch and great fellowship.  This is a sweet memory for us and we  will forever hold to it.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

I remember my kids and I going over to the Wilson's house and playing cards. Mrs. Wilson always made you feel like you were part of the family. Such a loving sweet soul. Smiling all the time. 
    Thank you Mrs. Wilson for sharing your loving heart and home with my kids and I.
