Dora Reynolds Bryant

Born on October 16, 1937 in Appomattox County, she was the daughter of the late Joe Booker Reynolds and Carrie Reed Reynolds Mann.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Doris Bryant Dix and her step-son, Donald Lee Bryant, Sr.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Pringle and husband Richard of SC; her step-son, Thomas Bryant and wife Pat of Rustburg; her step-daughter-in-law, Gloria Bryant of Evington; seven grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and fifteen step-great grandchildren.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff and doctors at Avante Nursing Home for their wonderful care and support of Dora while she was there.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service starting at noon.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like for you to consider memorial contributions to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer.
