Doris Hughes Perrow

Born November 28, 1930 in Campbell County, she was a daughter of the late Harry Edward and Louise DeJarnette Hughes. Mrs. Perrow was retired from Lynchburg Oil Company. She was a member of Fairview Christian Church.

Mrs. Perrow is survived by her daughter, Susan P. Elder and husband Mitchell of Forest; her brother, Ronald E. Hughes and wife Ella of Forest; her sister, Nancy H. Swain and husband Don of Lynchburg and two granddaughters, Natalie E. McKinley and husband Mark and Allison K. Elder. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Robbie Perrow of Lynchburg.

A funeral service to celebrate Mrs. Perrow’s life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with The Rev. Coretha Loughridge officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 p.m. (noon) and other times at the home of her daughter.
