Born on April 23, 1930 in Buckingham County, she was the daughter of the late Artie and Lilly Branch. Dorothy was a longtime member of Leesville Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Calvin Bryant, Jr. and wife Iris; one brother, seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Della Jean White; three brothers; and three sisters.
The family wishes to thank the Centra Hospice staff and their caregivers and Megan Bryant for their compassionate care of Mrs. Bryant.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Maple Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, 5604 Meadow Creek Rd, Wingina, VA (Buckingham County) with Rev. Kevin Brooks officiating.
