

Born May 15, 1939, in Bedford, she was a daughter of the late Herman T. and Frances Flynn Marsh. She was a member of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Ericsson.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Juanita M. Chappell.
Survivors include her son, Whitney T. Summers, of Lynchburg; her daughter, Lynette S. Page, of Spout Spring; two brothers, Vernon P. Marsh and wife Evelyn, of Chesapeake, and T. Edward Marsh and wife Linda, of Sandston; sister, Letitia D. Martin and husband Ray, of Cary, NC; brother-in-law, Ernest L. Chappell, of Midlothian; three grandchildren, Dylan T. Page, Jessica H. Page, and Caitlyn A. Summers; one great-grandson, Dakota T. Page, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends today from 3-5:00 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, November 29, 2010, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, by the Rev. Randy Bower. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mended Hearts, Inc., Chapter 16 of Lynchburg, 1920 Atherholt Rd. Lynchburg, VA 24501, of which Mrs. Summers was a member.
