Dear Family,

I had the privilege to be the pastor a few years in the mid 90's at then First Assembly where you mother faithfully attended. I can not say enough nice things about Ms. Ethel. If there was a costume for the drive thru nativity that needed to be made, she did it! If there was a meal that needed to be shared, she helped.
She was one of the sweetest, most faithful members that congregation and any pastor could have ever hoped for or wanted. I have no doubt there is a special wing in heaven just reserved for her. "Well done, thy good and faithful servant" are words she has already heard.

May you be comforted in her home going to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and be as well challenged to follow in those faithful serving footprints she has left to follow.

My very best to you all,
Dr. Craig M Miller, former pastor

My condolences to Mrs. Taylor’s family at the loss of a loving, kind lady. I would see her at church, always smiling and going to each person to greet them. She was a warm loving person. She will be missed!

There hasnt been a time when I didnt know "Sister Taylor". From being caught at 4 years old putting rocks on her car's bumper as I pretended "Restaurant", to watching her hush talking teenagers during service, to taking home her "Children's Church" bag for the night so that she could enjoy a Sunday morning service. She gave me a jolly laugh when she caught me with the rocks, and she never forgot it. She could be tough when she needed to be, which was a good thing. Through it all, she taught me how to be faithful to the Lord, and that no matter what you never give up on Jesus. Of all the years I've known her, she never gave up on her Jesus. We had several very "real" conversations, and I treasure each one. A lifetime of faith is not an easy road, but if you can "endure to the end" the reward is eternal. Today, this precious woman of God, stands in the presence of her Savior hearing the words, "Well done good and faithful servant". THANK YOU, Sister Taylor. as the song goes, "I am so glad you gave."

My heart is broken to hear the news of Sis Taylor's passing. She was a prayer warrior with a strong anointing. Though I haven't seen her in many years I know she prayed for me and my family. I pray for her family and want them to know they are loved and have impacted my life just as much as there parents/ grandparents have. God bless and touch your hearts.

This was truly a GODLY WOMAN loved dearly by everyone that came in contact with her! She loved with her everything and she made sure you knew she loved you and God loves you! I grew up knowing and loving this lady! My parents and I would give her rides to church after her loving husband passed away. She had a cackle that would crack you up when she laughed. Thank you Granny Taylor for loving us and being a Granny to everyone that you came in contact with! I will never forget you! I know my dad was one of many waiting in heaven for you to get there and join in worship! Love you always !! Steve Luther
