

Born July 20, 1948 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Bennett and Alice Brown Moore. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa R. Cyrus.
Mrs. Moore was a retired cook for Comcast Vending Company and also retired from C.V.T.C. She was a member of the Friday Night Bowling Mix, and a member of Tree of Life Ministries.
Survivors also include daughter, Annette Knight Johnson, of Rustburg; sons, Scott Knight and wife, Tammy, Charles Moore and wife, Jennifer of Lynchburg; sisters, Charlene M. Lewis and husband, Tucker of Lynchburg, Debby M. Drewry of Wilson, N.C., Diane M. Wilhelm and husband, Ronald of Big Island; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and best friend, Sabrina her little dog.
The family will receive friends today Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel from 6-8:00 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at Fort Hill Memorial Park Thursday at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Pastor Mike Dodson. After the service the family will receive friends at the home of Annette Johnson.
The family would like to thank caregiver, Sandra Johnson and hospice caregiver Elaine Dameron for the special love they gave to Frances.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to Centra Hospice.
