Georgia Hankins Moyer

Georgia Hankins Moyer, 89, of Forest went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 14, 2021. She was born in Henry County to the late George Hutcherson Hankins and Nannie Marlowe Hankins on December 20, 1931. Georgia was a hairdresser for over 60 years, and loved her job and her clients. She worked most of her career at Chestnut Hill Beauty Shop and most recently at Sheffield Styling. She was a member of Fairview Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Raymond S. Moyer, Jr. and her siblings, Callie Eanes, William Lester Hankins, Daniel Hankins, and Hill Lee Hankins. She is survived by her two children, Wayne Moyer and Dawn Page and husband Jay; two grandchildren, Jennifer Anderson and husband Robert and Jason Page; and her four great grandchildren, Addison and Cole Anderson and Jacelyn and Garrison Page. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 18, 2021 at Spring Hill Cemetery with Chaplain Troy Mays officiating.
