

Born on January 14, 1929 in Campbell County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Irene Brooks.
Glenda was a member of Forest Presbyterian Church and enjoyed sewing and making crafts. She had a talent for working with her hands.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, John D. Wilkins, Jr. and six siblings, Reginald Brooks, Violet Grubbs, Charlotte Proffitt, Clarence Brooks, Maynard Brooks, and Jack Brooks.
Glenda is survived by her daughter, Jonnie Coffer and husband E. Stanley; her two grandchildren, Misty Anderson and husband Dave and Stanley Coffer, Jr. and fiancé Brooke Williams; her three great grandchildren, David and Caila Anderson and Westen Coffer; her brother, Donald Brooks and wife Edith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 pm on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Spring Hill Cemetery.
