

Born in Bland County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Gilford Lafayette Davis and Beatrice Kitts Davis. She was a member of Park View United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Sarver is survived by daughters, Diane S. Hinnant of Wilmington, N.C., Deborah S. Johnston ( Lewis), Denise S. Watts both of Lynchburg; granddaughters, Sharon Hinnant (Jeff Moore); Cyndi Worsham (Tucker); Christen Ramsey ( Jeff ) and Katie Tyree; grandsons, Briston and Jordan Watts; step-grandsons, Michael Watts, Will and D.J. Johnston; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Jalen Moore, Rives, Joseph and Caris Worsham, and Denver Ramsey; brothers, David (Dorothy) and J.R.(Johnny Kate) Davis; sisters, Della Schram, Naomi (Vance) Brunk, Peggy (Jerry) Martin, Sue ( Ed) Morris and Judy (Sammy) Corder; honorary sons, Josepe Tyreeand Kent Watts.
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, November, 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Park View United Methodist Church by the Rev. C. Douglas Pillow and Rev. Jason Suitt. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
