Hazel Wright

Hazel Jean Wright, 66, of Lynchburg, went home to be with her Lord, Friday, January 14, 2011 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born September 22, 1944 in Campbell County, she was the daughter of the late Bertha Mae Eades Brooks and Luther Thomas Brooks.

She was the loving mother of one daughter, Deborah Jean Jennings of Madison Heights; one son, Wayne Stanford Mays and wife, Denise of Lynchburg; two brothers, Raleigh Carlton Brooks of Lynchburg and Albert Jackson Brooks of Tunnell Hill, GA; two sisters, Lucille Maxine Marshall of Rustburg and Margaret Mae Carroll of Staunton; three grandchildren, Heather Nicole Mays of Lynchburg, Jessica Ann Burks and husband, J.C. of Madison Heights, and Michael Todd Staton and wife, Carrie of Madison Heights and three great-grandchildren, LeLe Staton, M.J. Staton, and Colton Burks.
