

Born in Altavista, December 8, 1932, he was a son of the late Shellie O’Neal Moses and Mae Lewis Moses. Jack proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from G.E./Ericson after 30 years of service. He was a member of Hyland Heights Baptist Church. Jack enjoyed bowling and he and his wife bowled on a league for many years. He also loved to fish and took advantage of any opportunity to fish he could.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ragan Allen Moses and one grandson, Tony Lee Driskill.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Melissa Daniel and her husband Dale of Rustburg and Deborah Jones and her husband Ricky of Goode; one son, Brian Thomas Moses of Evington; two brothers, Bobbie Moses and his wife Shelby of Amherst and Dane Moses and his wife Debbie of Pearson, FL and six grandchildren, Ricky Jones, Jr., Jessica Jones, Hunter Jones, Brittney Ridgeway, Cody Moses and Cassie Moses.
A service celebrating his life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Celebrant Polly Starnes officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
