Janice Faye Shepard

Janice’s warm heart, unwavering love for her family, and her selfless spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Born November 12, 1959, Janice was a beacon of kindness and generosity, always putting others first and radiating positivity. Daughter to Homer Franklin Shepard and Iva Williams as well as a Loving Sister to Sherry Stephens. Janice was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Kristen Howard and Blair Bryant along with her husband Shawn Bryant, and took immense pride in being a grandmother to Seth Howard and Kimberlynn Bryant, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Janice’s love for her family was unparalleled, and she cherished the time spent with them, whether at family gatherings, holidays, or quiet moments at home.

Janice was also a dedicated godmother to Melissa White, who held a special place in her heart. Her nurturing nature and ability to offer wisdom, encouragement, and support made her an irreplaceable presence in the lives of all those who were fortunate to know her.

Janice’s warm smile and caring personality will be remembered fondly by her extended family, friends, and community. She was the embodiment of grace, resilience, and love, and her legacy will live on in the memories of those she leaves behind.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life event at a later date. Whitten Timberlake Chapel in Lynchburg Virginia is assisting the family.

Rest in peace, Janice. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
