Jenny, born August 3, 1984, was known for her love of her dog “Mushu,” who was always by her side. She enjoyed watching Law and Order SVU, spending time outside and being with her family and friends. Jenny was especially close with her friend, Rebecca Mitchell, who was her best friend since high school and who was always there. One thing that stood out in Jenny’s life was her love for God and singing for Him.
Those left to cherish Jenny’s memory include her fiancé Kevin Jamerson and his children Addyson, Jacob and Hayden; her siblings, William Kershner (Jenni), Jeff Torrence (Markieta) and Jessica Barbour (Wayne) and many nieces and nephews, Greyson Torrence, Braelyn Torrence, Noah Barbour, Cody Kershner, Lily Branum and Khloe Branum.
A memorial service celebrating Jenny’s life will be held on Friday, February 6 at 2pm at Harvest Baptist Church at 2571 Carter Street, Lynchburg 24501, with the Reverend Mark Snowden officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
