Judith Ann Hudson

She was born on May 9, 1937 in Lynchburg and was the daughter of the late Ray and Amanda Horsley. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Hudson, Sr; sister, Fay Hubbard and brother-in-law, Bob Hubbard.

She worked for many years as Department Head of Cash Receivables at The Old Time Gospel Hour. She was a long time member of Thomas Road Baptist Church, joining the church in 1962, when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

A loving mother, she is survived by son Charles (Chuck) R. Hudson, Jr of Concord and his wife Cecelia (Tootie), son Pastor David Keith Hudson of Mount Olive, AL and his wife JoAnn, daughter Deborah (Debbie) Gillaspy of Lynchburg and her husband Craig, daughter Teresa Hudson of Forest, son Gregory (Greg) S. Hudson of Forest and his wife Amy; brother David Horsley of Madison Heights and his wife Judy. She was the beloved grandmother of Jeromy, Chad, Ben, Elizabeth, April, Jared, Zachary, Brandon, Clay, Lindsay, Jennifer, Cody and Layton, in addition to twenty-one great grand kids, and loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services celebrating Ann’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Thomas Road Baptist Church in the Pate Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Falwell and Pastor Keith Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
