Born September 15, 1939 in Campbell County, he was the son of the late Lester Edward and Dovie Craft Wilson and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lavorn Danos and Myrtice Jennings and a brother, Edward Odell Wilson. He was a retired sheet metal worker.
Mr. Wilson is survived by a son, Brian Keith Wilson and wife Kathy of Thaxton; a step-daughter, Wendy Bell Campbell and husband Greg of Amherst; two brothers, Luther Wilson of Evington and Roy Wilson and wife Lois of Rustburg; two sisters, Mazie Cumbee of Hartsville, SC and Eleanor Sheriff of Rustburg and three grandchildren, Kristin, Marie, and Aaliyah.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Tom McLean officiating.
