Lucille Saunders Tyree, 93, of Forest passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Liberty Ridge Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Robert Ray Tyree. Born August 15, 1925, in Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Saunders and the late Sally Millner Saunders.
Lucille was a homemaker and a loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandmother and great grandmother. Lucille also supported Oral Roberts Ministries.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lucille was preceded in death by one son, Bernard Ray Tyree and eleven brothers and sisters.
Lucille is survived by one son, Larry E. Tyree of Forest; two grandchildren, Renee T. Casto (Shawn) and A. Scott Tyree (Bridget Bond); six great grandchildren, Logan Casto, Robert S. Tyree, Morgan Tyree, T.J. Neal, Briella Neal and Katie Neal; two great-great grandchildren, Luca Desilvey and Caroline Desilvey; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Liberty Ridge Long Term Care for their compassionate care towards Lucille.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 15, 2019, at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Danny Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
