From the time MJ and I would catch each other's eye, she in her choir seat and I in my pew, hoping for Rusty and Karen to wed, until the last time I kissed her head in the hospital, we loved our two families becoming one. Sharing our children and grandchildren made us very proud. Not many families unite as we did. Soon after the kids' wedding David actually said, "I'm going to need a bigger boat." 

MJ, I know you are elated to be in heaven. Celebrating with Jesus and with all the family and friends who were waiting for you is the biggest party you ever had. And you love a party!!

Karen and Paul.  So sorry for your loss.  Your mother was a good and gentle woman.  She will be greatly missed.  We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

We were very sad to hear about the loss of your mother. She always was so nice and loving to us whenever she visited.
The last time we spoke, she said she was praying for my family, which really touched my soul. We are praying for you and your families.

M J was such a dear friend and co-worker and was always there for me. We spent times with each other sharing how we felt about the loss of our husbands and she was such a comfort to me.  Now she is with her Lord and has been reunited with Dave and how great that must be and she has a new body.  See you again friend!!.

Karen and Paul, your mom always had a smile on her face.  Our loss here on earth but know she is rejoicing in Heaven with many loved ones and our Savior she knew and loved.  May God comfort you and your families during this difficult time.

We were saddened to learn of the home-going of our dear friend, MJ Randlett. She and Dave were two of our earliest friends in Lynchburg when we came in 1976. I shall always remember the Christmas get-togethers and the "dirty Santa" tradition. Nancy and I think of them every Christmas when we carry on that fun-filled tradition with our own friends and family. She and Dave were "pillars" of Thomas Road Church and we shall miss them. I suspect Monday was an amazing day in heaven as Dave led his angelic choir in the Hallelujah Chorus upon her arrival as she joined him there before the Throne. Well done, MJ, well done. I am sure these were Jesus's first words to her as He received her into His arms. Our sympathies are with the family: Karen, Rusty, Paul and Jenny, the children and grandchildren. We pray God's special comfort and grace in the days ahead.
