Margaret Ellen Maddox

Margaret Ellen Donald Maddox, 86, of Lynchburg, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022, at South Boston Health & Rehabilitation Center. Twice married. she was the wife of the late Junius Bayne Williams and the late Maxie Vonshell Maddox, Sr.

Born February 25, 1936 in Gladys, she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Bertha Auxier Donald. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Maddox was retired from G.E./Ericcson. She was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.

Mrs. Maddox is survived by her daughter, June W. Johnson and husband Ronnie and son, Maxie V. Maddox and wife Rachel, all of Lynchburg; two grandsons, Chris Williams and William Johnson; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 28, 2022 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Rick Rasberry officiating.
