Margaret Louise Nickerson

Margaret Louise Nickerson, age 68 of Lynchburg, wife of Thomas H. Nickerson, Sr., passed away on Saturday, April 06, 2019 at her home. She was born on September 26, 1950 in Lynchburg, daughter of the late Russell Eugene Hall and Margaret Hall Jamerson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Russell James Nickerson and a sister, Sandra Noble. Margaret was retired from BMS Direct. She loved to spend time with her family as well as sewing, especially blankets and quilts. Survivors in addition to her husband Thomas, include 3 children, Thomas H. Nickerson, Jr. and wife Sheryl, John E. Nickerson and wife Rachel, and Michael Eugene Nickerson and wife Mary; 2 brothers, William Hall and wife Linda and Steve Jamerson and wife Sherry; 1 sister, Kathy Croft and husband Rick. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the Nickerson Family Cemetery with Rev. Ed Vogt officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
