

Born February 16, 1936, in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Craddock Terry Hunt and Katie Motley Hunt.
She was retired from CVTC, and was a member of College Hill Baptist Church. She touched many young lives by providing daycare in her home for over 25 years. She loved the beach and Elvis. She was a great cook, loved animals, reading and Carolina basketball, but most of all she loved her family.
Survivors include two children, Charles “Woody” Wooldridge Jr. and wife Marcia, and Tracie Lynne Wooldridge Hayes and husband Bill; her sister, Nancy Clara Hunt; three grandchildren, Daniel Wooldridge and fiancée Kayla, Jeremy Wooldridge and wife Jordan, and Brandon Wooldridge; two great-grandchildren, Noah and Carter Wooldridge, all of Lynchburg; special friend, Debbie Woodfin and husband Richard Jr., of Madison Heights; granddogs, Reno, Tahoe, Buddy, and Yogi, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 25, 2012, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2012, at College Hill Baptist Church, by the Rev. Andrew P. Grose. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
