
Marian Frazier Arnold, 80, of Lynchburg, passed away, Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born June 12, 1931 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Eugene and Lizzie Bell Almond Frazier. She was a retired secretary with General Electric with twenty-five years of service and a twenty year employee of the D.A.V. Thrift Store, where she was well known and loved by all who knew her. She was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.
Mrs. Arnold is survived by three sons, Joseph M. Arnold, Jr. of Norfolk, Richard Arnold and his fiancée’, Angelia Rhodes and Gary E. Arnold and his wife, Ann, both of Lynchburg; two brothers, Herbert Eugene Frazier, Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Columbus, GA and Tony Frazier and his wife, JoAnn of Frederick, MD; four grandchildren, Sarah Arnold Ryan and husband, Jake, Amanda Arnold, Hannah Arnold, and Andrew Rhodes and Marian’s best friends, Joyce and Bud Weiser and Opal Blankenship. ;
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Brian Beagle officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service until 8::00 p.m.
