Born on July 1, 1952 in Roanoke, he was the son of the late Lewis and Doris Fielder.
He was employed by Flowserve for 46 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Martha Dalton and his brother, Wayne Fielder.
In addition to his wife, Mark is also survived by his son; Mark Fielder, Jr. and wife Tiffany; his daughters, Michelle Leary and husband Tim and Bridget Alegre and husband Wayne; five grandchildren; his brother; Ronnie Fielder; his two sisters; Beatrice and her husband, Rev. Larry Henderson and Teresa and husband Gary Haynes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Clearview Baptist Church, 2183 Sunnymeade Rd, Rustburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 9, 2016, at Clearview Baptist Church with Pastor Zane Kramer officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
