

Born May 2, 1921 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late George C. Phillips and Frances (Sophie) McCauley Phillips.
Mildred was a retiree of General Electric and a member of Fairview Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil and grandson Stephen Troy Ramey.
Mildred is survived by five children to cherish her memory, three sons, Dennis F. Anders (Phyllis) of Goldsboro, NC, Dean C. Anders (Janet) of Lynchburg, and Kelly D. Anders of Lynchburg; two daughters, Kay A. Womack (David) of Salem, Va., and Dixie A. Ramey of Lynchburg; nine grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2012 in Whitten Timberlake Chapel conducted by Rev. Curtis Wheeler of Fairview Christian Church. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
