Mona Denton Wooldridge

Mona Denton Wooldridge, age 81 of Rustburg, widow of Robert E Wooldridge, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. She was born on October 27, 1939 in Lynchburg, daughter of the late Richard Denton and the late Louise M Denton. A brother, Richard Denton, also predeceased her. Mona was retired from Avonte of Lynchburg, enjoyed sewing and birdwatching, and loved old westerns. She is survived by 2 sons, Robert Wooldridge and David Wooldridge and his wife Patty. Her beloved dog, Colby, also survives her. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Cumbie Cemetery in Rustburg. When attending the service, please maintain social distancing and wear a mask for everyone’s safety.
