Norma Faye Miller Fitzgerald, 72, of Lynchburg, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Cecil F. Fitzgerald.
Born April 12, 1948 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. Miller and Frances Poore Collins and was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Karter “Hotrod” Fitzgerald. In addition to being a homemaker, Mrs. Fitzgerald worked in Construction cleanup. She was a member of Calvary Cross Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Fitzgerald is survived by four sons, Paul Fitzgerald and wife Lori, Robert Fitzgerald and wife Christie, Joe Fitzgerald and wife Melissa, and Chris Carrico; a sister, Connie Fulcher; two brothers, Preston Miller and wife Shirley and Gregg Collins; 16 grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and her special niece and caregiver, Debra Burnley and husband Mike.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Calvary Cross Baptist Church with Pastor E. Wayne Hudson and The Rev. Carlton Duck officiating.
Whitten Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Timberlake Chapel is serving the family.
