Paul Sanders and Nancy Blanks Childers

Nancy was preceded in death by both of her parents and one sister. In addition to Nancy, Paul was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Paul was the retired owner/operator of Childers Auto Service and he served his country in the

U. S. Navy during both World War II and the Korean Conflict. Nancy and Paul both were charter members of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. Paul and Nancy both loved their family and friends and especially their grandchildren.

They are survived by three children, Paul Gordon Childers of Waynesboro, Patricia Childers of Fayetteville, N.C. and Debie C. Dodson and her husband Mike, of Lynchburg and two grandchildren, Nancibeth Dodson and Paul Dodson and his wife, Jenny. Paul is survived by one brother, Jerry Childers of Lynchburg.

A memorial service will be conducted for both of them on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at

2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church.
